Cons: - The shade is two finger-widths wider than a T bulb, which makes it tough to screw in the light bulbs. - The lamp just doesn't look that great. - The dark bronze finish doesn't have any luster. The areas where it's been scuffed to show the lighter bronze finish underneath are a little too consciously done - that lighter finish shows through *only* on the corners and edges where it's been scuffed and nowhere else, rather than having the "textured" look you'd see in a typical oil-rubbed bronze finish. - The lamp shade isn't round, which may not be apparent from the picture. Lower-priced lamps seemed to have the on/off switch located along the cord, which requires the operator to reach behind the piano in order to activate. This lamp adequately illuminates the piano music, does not shine in the player's eyes, is easy to turn on and off, and looks great with the dark piano that it sits above.
